The O-line has really been good today.

Matt only throws to 3 people max. I wish he would try to look somewhere else, at least in preseason.

I'd typically agree...but if the guys are open, you go to them. No sense in checking down when one of your first two options is open.

Best the 1st team has looked all pre-season. So much for Ryan's 3-4 defense, it's getting shredded as easy as last year's Saints defense.

That looked like it was by design. I agree with engaging instead of cutting in that scenario tho.

This saints defense is a strong contender for back to back worst in the league.

if those 3 are the ones who can get open why do you want him to force to anyone else?

Jeez... its not like he's forcing it in to them and risking an INT.

He's throwing to the guy that's wide open. He's doing exactly what this offense is designed to do. It also helps that players with more talent/speed are often the ones that are wide open as well.

He was too busy staying back as an extra blocker to cover the shaky O-line.

Same sort of sack that got Brees.

if defensive tackles were smart they'd try to swipe to strip the ball instead of just going for the monster hit. that ball was ripe for a fumble.

Esp. on empty backfield sets. We don't have enough talent on the right side of the line to consistently block for lengthy downfield passing plays.

Especially when Schaub holds the ball instead of throwing it away, or having no ability to move around in the pocket.

I really love that we now have a kicker who can do what most other teams do (kick it out of the end zone).
