That's one thing that I still cant grasp...it's such a basic concept and it boggles my mind that people can be so dumb. I understand that sometimes things happen fast and reacting slowly can cause some penalties, but it just doesnt make sense on kick/punt returns.
The block in the back is consistently on that first guy back, there has to be some serious flaws in what's being taught to counter gunners.
It's his fault because we always get those penalties over and over. He's not disciplining/coaching them enough to not do it. He doesn't have a grip.

Look, Im ready for a new special teams coach as well. HOWEVER, bocks in the back are the fault of the players. Not the coach. And disciplining them enough? This is not college or high school, these are grown men. Bench them sure... Discipline them? Laughable.
