To cite my Trump supporting FB friend if I saw mostly just what he posts on FB and paid little attention to other sources I would be hardcore Trump supporter. Unfortunately that is the reality of many people that many people are getting their news from social media. Disinformation can make a difference. Enough of a difference in three states around 70,000 votes in a country of 330 million difference.

A drop in the bucket of what? A billion dollars a year is a lot. It shows it is not just on fake stories as you claim. You try to down play Russia’s influences all you want facts fortunately bare different results.

70, 000 is a lot in a swing but that's a reach. The first issue is you're looking at voters who are open to more information. The second issue is people mostly go to the internet to validate opinions, not develop them.

70,000 out of a voting population (I won't use the whole US population to be more accurate) of about 165 million is .004% of voters. If you don't think that .004% of voters don't actually get much of their news from social media and aren't able to be swayed by disinformation I'm not sure what to tell you.

What do you think a billion buys you. It’s not like military spending on equipment . We are talking about a lot of man power.

You keep going on about changing votes. That isn't necessary and doesn't have to be the goal. All they have to do is convince people that Trump's opponent is so bad people stay at home, leave the top of the ticket blank, or vote third party.

We know there were enough blank top of the ticket ballots to cause Trump to lose had they voted Dem.

You are asking an ignorant question. There is no way to prove how many did or didn't change their votes or refused to vote.

That doesn't prove the election wasn't changed as a result of the interference. It is entirely possible that it was but it can't be proven.

That makes it more, not less, important to protect against foreign interference.

You do know elections are with votes right?

Dont wanna go down this sematical theoretical endless rabbit hole with you for the umpteenth time.

CIA claims election was altered. Thats a a simple claim. Where are the numbers? TIA

It is about votes. Lack of votes change the election.

Do you understand how data works? It is not possible to get exact numbers on what thing or combination of things changed peoples' votes or caused them to be so turned off, they didn't vote.

There's no rabbit hole to go down. Those are the facts.

Because it is possible to discover that some people didn't vote because of anti - Hillary propaganda. If some people did it had an effect. They may have gotten enough of a sample to make projections.

So if some of you hear something from a group that is paid to specialize in deception you always believe it?

Often people say well they are from the govt. when I mention this.

But then what is Trump a member of?
