Every time he talks to all the youngsters at home watching I assume he's talking to you and @bobrek.

I said Blum was better... I said I don't care for the constant Bagwell tangents (unless the game is a total blowout and there's nothing left to talk about).

Berkman is trying to hard to provide an explanation for every single happening.

I like both of them, different points of view and both insightful and entertaining. Definitely not questionable.

But Bagwell isn't? You and I see these things entirely differently. It's ok.

Berkman needs to chill out though. Too much talking.

I do like Berkman but damn, I have to think he would bring it down a notch if he was in the booth more and loses some of his enthusiasm.

Bagwell does it... but isn't trying as hard... and usually brings up a comparison or former teammate or former player or former situation to make his point.... and then comes the tangent story.

I did like the Greinke = 04 Clemens comparison today. Hits spots. Sets up the batter. Not the electric stuff it once was. Doesn't give in.

I do understand all the pre-hatred to Berkman... but he isn't just phoning this thing in.

Hes like Romo, good and better info, not just anecdotes like Bags, but just talks too much.

If he was like Romo, he'd be solely predicting every pitch... and what every sign means.
