Now it's a bigger lead. Hopefully this is the start of a really good homestand.

At least Miller did not give up 12 runs!!!

Sad comment: Miller gave up a run in one inning and lowered his ERA.

He left the game with a tight hamstring. He's listed as day to day.

I'm happy we've gotten over that last stretch. Let's hope the wins keep on coming.

"When you're playing at home with our fans, that's something," said Ensberg, who homered off Jason Jennings (2-3) on a 3-2 pitch. "If you remember that 3-2 count, you couldn't hear a thing during my at-bat. That's big, and that puts pressure on the opposing team to perform." - Morgan Ensberg

I am so proud that Houston has become a great baseball city. I have been to many ballparks around the country and seriously MMP is the most rocking place to play and watch a baseball game.

Last night was great. It was good to see the bats just break out.

Houston has become a great baseball city, but the fans still need to become a little more informed before they can reach the level of Cardinals fans.

I like the enthusiasm and the atmosphere at the games now, but Astros 'fans' should have never been booing Jeff Kent when the Dodgers were here. They shouldn't have been booing Preston Wilson for grounding into a double play, and they shouldn't be booing Lidge.

We should aspire to be smart baseball fans like Cardinals fans, not ignorant about baseball like Yankees fans, which unfortunately is what the Astros crowds seem to lean to.

The smarts will come with time and more playoff success of the Astros. With this core group of young players we can hope to see that quite often. Texas is still a football state first but the Astros for the last two seasons have ignited a lot of interest in baseball. This is just the first step. As long as they continue to win consistently the fans will become more informed and smarter.
Yankees fans dont know anything other than the Yankees or Red Sox so they are the most uninformed and stupid fans in the league. Cards fans are a little bit more informed but they are obnoxious as well.

The Astros have been winning consistently more often in the past 10-12 years than any other NL team except the Braves.

Great game...I'm so gald we kicked the sh*t out of the rockies...2 more games to do the same so we can sweep them here like they did us...

I saw it when it was 1-1 in the 5th, and as a matter of fact, it was showing in Dallas on FSN...WOOHOO!!!

I was at Cool River, a cool little place near the Byron Nelson , which was awesome, and I got to see the later part of the game...

Yep, there is almost no place like MMP. Atleast out of the places I've been. It's so much fun to attend games. I love the atmosphere. I went to a couple of the Braves series last season's playoffs and it was amazing. I was getting goosebumps.

The way Lamb's been swinging it, he should be starting regardless. Put Berkman back in left, move Wilson to right and put Lane on the bench.

I agree Lamb should be in the lineup untill he gets cold. I say put Lamb at first, Berkman at left, Wilson at Center, keep Lane in right.

Can't believe Garner kept Orlando Palmerio versus Ray King. Palmerio has hit .169 versus the lefties since 2003. Bruntlett has being hitting the ball real well to lately. Makes no sense.

Tim Purpura is not working out. This team's greatest problem is its inconsistent offense, and he's done almost nothing to address that. Yeah, he signed Preston Wilson, but I doubt that anyone was too excited with that move.

I don't care if Roger comes back. Cy Young could rise from the grave, and the Astros still couldn't hit from night to night.
