That's a good way to put it. The 83-point massacre on Thursday was probably the worst thing that could have happened to them.
another way to put it --- Kleiza and Pocius hit a ton of 3s, and they aren't 3 pt shooters. I thought the US was pretty good. Not at their best, but they forced a ton of turnovers, shut down the PnR completely (Valanciunas was basically irrelevant), defended the natural 3pt shooters. They forced Lithuanians to drive towards the basket (not the strong side of our team's game) and they invited Kleiza/Pocius to shoot 3s (again, that's not a bad idea). But somehow Lithuania succeeded in that. As a Lithuanian fan, I'm excited. Hopefully the other teams won't apply the same strategy after this and let us PnR instead. Because surely we can't make those plays again in these Olympics, just not our game.
Dem ngas all got drunk poppin crazy bottles of rozay, gettin high and whatnot after they whooped nigeria by over 9,000 pts. They thought they could take every team lightly after dat, smdh.
You know i get tired of hearing the US team survived a scare or some other BS like that. Our team is bored of playing talentless teams in my opinion. Our boys are the best in the world period, they have showed they can turn it off and turn it on when they want to.
Nice! Lithuania! It was funny to see how Kleiza can score in the post on any USA player. I really think that Lithuania can beat Russia in the quarter finals and who knows maybe they meet in the final. I really hope so
They also outshot us (58% to 44%) and outrebounded us. US has ZERO post game. I don't know why Coach K doesn't have Lebron/Kobe/Melo in there more. He wouldn't be a great NBA coach at all, as this team is so flawed. Any team is awesome if they make their 3s. 33s tonight, goodness, while only make 11. Pathetic.
You would be the only one scared. Nobody would bet against them, US is the best out there face it. I bet You would be scared to bet on the litho beating US?
No team is going to beat the United States. The US plays complacent ball. If they actually tried and drove it in each and every time the score would be a lot different.
what are you even talking about? of course USA is the most talented. Am I saying that Linas Kleiza is better than LeBron James? Did you take THAT from my post? If you did, that you honestly need to go back to school, reading comprehension massively fails.
