Not a single bit of hindsight ...I had no idea what happened because I was busy with something else. I just assumed he would be coming out after the 6th with it being turned over to the best pen in baseball. 6 innings is Fiers threshold where he starts to lose it. You go with your strength....much less downside risk at that point.(and we don't have a big margin of error these days) Even though he was pitching well with the bottom half coming up/low pitch count why chance it when you can turn it over to those guys? One, two three...game over. USUALLY !
no one can be trusted. unless our advance analytics department develops a method where they can fool harris and luke into thinking that the 9th inning is really the 8th inning.
THAT is what GREAT players and very good teams do...Especially against bad teams/at home. We're going to win this.
