And when Archer pitches next he'll give up 7-8 runs watch

 

or the Astros decided to continue to play the suckiest game of their lives!

Archer was great. Sucks the Astros offense has been so anemic lately

 

We need the White sox to win now for sure

 

Does Hudgens not coach at all? Think he would say something about maybe watching a pitch to his hitters... that was pathetic.

I guess the rage has now shifted from Gary Pettis to Dave Hudgens.

 

Archer was an all-star thus season. He's an excellent pitcher. The Astros have too many hitters that swing at balls. No need to actually throw strikes against them tonight.

 

The problem is, if we make the playoffs, you're only going to see really good pitchers. We are in deep ****.

 

It would be awesomely amusing to ask people to explain exactly what it is a hitting/pitching/base coach does.

 

I think you're underestimating how good he really is. 8th for pitchers in WAR, 5th in SIERA, 4th in xFIP

Don't feel too bad about losing this game in particular, really wish we could've won the series though

 

I know Archer is going to get a lot of credit tonight and he can be dominant. But the Astros look like a joke right now offensively. They really could have easily been no hit tonight. Their approach right now at the plate is ridiculous. Like I said earlier they are easy to pitch to right now even if you don't have dominant stuff.

 

Surely nothing George Springer can't fix, right!?!?! Right? RIGHT?!

I just hate how good the Stros pitching is and this team struggles to score game after game

 

It's really hard to root against this Archer kid. Dude's legit. Except when he's playing against the Astros of course.

Then why is everyone saying he's a stud, great pitcher, he's sandy Koufax ? The one Dubose speaks of is the Archer I know !!!!!

 

The three months before that were pretty damn Sandy Koufax.
