I'll completely agree with that. Just think that tonight is more related to Harvey than the past couple of months. I think the ultimate hope is that once they're finally able to come home and see their families that they'll then be able to shift more of their attention to baseball and really trying to inspire the city. I think it's almost too early still (given the fact that they're not able to come home yet) to expect them to be able to fully concentrate on baseball and playing for this city.

Seems a little douchier than normal to challenge that. But I guess Astros would have done it too

Just checking in. Missed the game. But looking at the box, looks like Bad Fiers equals Bad Loss. Anything else?

edit: Looks like Choo, Andrus and Beltre tore us a new one :(
edit2: Looks like our top 4 hitters did ok. Just barren after that though (as of top 8th).

Well, we got a position player (who used to pitch in college) pitching out of this game

Mystery solved. JD Davis is a power hitting pitcher masquerading as a 3rd baseman!

Dude! JD Davis looked like a legit pitcher out there. He was locating better than our normal relievers.

    Playoffs matter most.

Let's get healthy then take our best swing.

Davis was throwing 92? Paradigm shift incoming?

Well, that game was just a big f***ing bummer.

Geoff Blum referred to Bud Selig as "Dud Selig" during the postgame. Judging by his and Julia's reactions, he meant to do it, too.

    Who's Jim Deshaies, again?

At least we didn't get no-hit this time, and we still have a massive lead in the division.

He is who he is. Those who thought otherwise, even through his scorching hot stretch, were delusional. Regression was always on the forecast.

If LMJ was available, He'd be the odd man out.

His stuff has to have pinpoint location to be effective. Reminds me plenty of Dave Mlcki and his lack of vowels.

Yeah...he's back to being his normal self unfortunately.
