DL Rasmus with the inner ear cyst and bring up Kemp. I'd leave him in the lineup everyday but unless a bat like Braun can be had on waivers, the only options are from the minors. Honestly, there are enough power bats in the lineup. The Astros need players who can generate traffic on the base paths. Use your speed advantage and try to put more pressure on the imposing pitcher. It's not a great solution but you need to bridge the gap until Yulieski and Val get back. Once they arrive, you'll have 6 established batters for your lineup and will then be seeking two more outside catcher (Castro/Gattis platoon). Those two will likely be some combo of Bregman/Reed/White/Gomez/Jake and Kemp if he's called up.
Sweep... ...for US! Let's turn a bunch of these doom and gloom fans' perspective around. It's been a bad last 10 games, but all of that goes away with 3 straight wins. Let's punch them in the face - figuratively, not literally. Wait, maybe literally as well!
Thanks Nippystix. That post made me feel happy about baseball again. You know what? You're ****ing right! WWW LET'S DO THIS! TIME TO TAKE BACK OUR DIVISION!

We probably get swept or lose two, but being positive.. White is coming off his best 2 games B2B in months and Bregman just posted his first career multi on-base game. Maybe they keep it up and a few more guys hit. Pitching needs to continue doing well.
funerals can sometimes surprise you. Ok. Probably not. They pretty much go as planned. But we aint dead yet. We'll be two strapping tonight.
Tonight's game is a must if we think we can salvage the division race. We just have to see something come of the offense the first two innings. If we don't show any life and we get down 2-0 or 3-0 in the 4th or 5th, the game is already over.
I look at the pitching matchups and have a good feeling about the series. But as little as history matters for these games, it's stuck in the back of my mind...
No, it's not...but this series is, by far, the biggest of the season to date. Lose more ground and we can likely forget the division. Gain ground and momentum could carry us back into the division race. They just need something good to happen quickly.
Biggest 3 game stand of the year. Win out and everything is back to normal. Get swept and the season is over.
