    White's GS vs the Yankees was his first career hit (1-11) with the bases juiced.

    Will it was too much to ask for Tyler to produce a simple fly out and bring home the 6 run. They really need to move him.

    To everyone questioning Alvarez ability to hit high heat, the scouting report is out. The Pirates threw sinkers to him and tried to get him on a fastball up and in (only fastball in that at bat), Alvarez hit the 95 mph pitch for a double. That wasn’t Chapman type heat but a very encouraging sign.

    Alvarez has a pure swing and a good eye. I dare anybody to think they have something up their sleeve that can consistently take him down. He seems like he's going to be a quick learner and adjuster. This is exciting.
