Amazing thing is we only need 9 wins to match the 2003 Tigers. Makes me realize just how terrible that team was.

So we are just wrtiting off Jed Lowrie now? Even after his slump Jed Lowrie still has the 4th best WAR for a SS in baseball.
Jed Lowrie is one of my 5 bench guys. When you can't stay healthy for even 100 games, you can't be a long-term starter. This is the 4th consecutive year Lowrie has missed a large amount of games do to injury. He hasn't played 90 games since 2008 (though he is likely to do it this season, but good chance he doesn't get to 100).
Pet peeve of mine is that if a manager is going to yank a pitcher if someone gets on base in the 7th, then he should pinch hit for him in the 6th.
