Good to see Colin Moran doing good. To bad we didn’t send Fisher and kept Moran

 

So, Fisher's fielding AND arm suck.

 

True just looked like he would have gotten him.

 

I cant really complain since they're 6-1, but yea I expect more from this lineup and it shall come.

 

can't understand Hinch's continued infatuation with Tony Sipp

 

A friend and I were just talking about how in the hell hes still on this team

 

Because

a) He doesn't actually cause the team to lose many more games than his potential or presumed replacement would; and

b) He's owed $6 million for this year.

 

Sipp is an OG, just paying him for being on our team during the down years

 

Yeah that’s one of the things I said ! He didn’t hurt them last year but he’s no stud that’s for sure

 

I don’t know half these guys on this padres team

 

I continue to forget sipp is on the team until he pitches every other week and I happen to catch his 3rd of an innings work on tv.

 

Last year he came in and I was like “wait he’s still on this team” lol

 

this jose pirela fella is singlehandedly beating us

 

no one does.. plus NL bleh

 

It’s a testament to how good this team is that they can go through the motions with all the hoopla during this opening Home stand and be 6-1.

 

Pirela has been hitting the ball with authority (basically highest exit velos on his team) in this young season but just been getting BABIP'd to death, so the strength of his hitting didn't really show up in his OPS. Until tonight that is...

 

And it would not be surprising for the Astros to pull this one out. a bloop and a blast...
