The Cards might if he was available. You could do far worse than having EJ as your backup QB. That doesn't mean the Bills would get anything more than a conditional pick but no contending team wants their season destroyed because they lost their starting QB.
I would think even getting a conditional pick would be a longshot, teams will wait out the cut period to sign him outright if interested. He would be a serviceable backup though.

Could we possibly show interest in signing phil Taylor he got released by the Browns and I think Romeo would love him here.
He's basically missed most of the Browns' training camp due his recovery from Knee surgery. He's have continued issue with that knee throughout his career. He's also no where ready to even play at the start of the season. He's also on waivers until cleared, and we're like 16th down the line there. I'm sure he'll get picked up before even coming close to us grabbing him. Otherwise I wouldn't mind looking into it if we could snap him. Added depth would be good, but you can't trust he'll stay healthy. Maybe have him backup NT/DT for a year and see if he can remain healthy. If he's healthy, the dudes a player.

nice work turning an undrafted fa into a pick. Now all they need to do is turn actual picks into good starters.
We know how Rick Smith didn't want to give up a pick for Chris Clark, but he got one back (and a round higher) for Khari Lee. Not bad.
