Its very much a team effort... but I'm not giving Griffin a pass... he hasn't looked good this year on a team that's very similar in makeup to the one where he did look good on last year.
coming into this game he was completing 60% of his passes coming off an injury, not sure where you are going with this. His recievers arent that good, he doesnt have some big time reciever to draw attention
He's looked pretty damn inconsistent. Like he's still hurt, or just not sure of himself. He's had a lot of throws this year where he's thrown behind the receiver on crossing routes, late on timing routes, or just nowhere near them when they're wide open.
they started 3-6 last year lol... they had to win 7 straight games to get in the playoffs, it was luck, and griffin had to play out his mind and got injured
give him a better team, with better coaching and then talk to me, mike shanahan was a failure in washington until the skins made the playoffs last year. griffin saved his job, hell be gone by the end of the year, if he sucks under a new coach, then you can say he is a bust.
He's not a bust... just not as good of a pocket passer as he needs to be in a pocket passing system. He could be in a system that more utilizes his strengths... presuming that defenses haven't caught up to defending that by the time he gets one.
RG3's comparison coming out of Baylor was Aaron Rodgers, i believe he has that ability... he is just in the wrong system... needs new coaching and a better playcaller
RGIII...I like the guy, but man has he regressed. Redskins are totally screwed if he doesn't turn into a legit player. Without the threat of running, he's a below average QB.
ask yourself what have the shanahans accomplished in washington before griffin got there, maybe mcnabb was right

the "code" for white NFL stars: 1) high motor guy 2) a real gym rat 3) "coach on the field" 4) a cerebral player
That INT looked so eerily similar...a hitch route with the receiver setting up before the ball was even released, allowing a straight shot right to DRC to jump the route. And whats scary, cousins at least had a moderate zip on the ball... no...no...be gone...#bewell Garcon is just not a good receiver. Would be surprised if they still have him next season. Too bad no #1 picks for a while...so have to wait for the 2nd round for a real receiver. Cant help if receivers fall on their routes, have hands of steel, or allow a DB to telegraph INTs w/o even being in the picture.
Why are they making a big deal out of what des Bryant did.. I wish somebody on the texans would do that.
What happened is the same thing that always happens...a series of bonehead plays by a team trying to run the clock down but not knowing how to do that correctly turning a 99.3% chance to win a ball game at the end into a loss. Here's a rundown of why this team is so dumb: 1.) Romo won't take a sack to let clock run so, instead, throws ball out of bounds on second to last series when we were up two scores. 2.) Cowboys coaches decide to be conservative on last two series knowing the running game is in shambles and the defense is not stopping a thing instead of taking the game by completing just one more pass for a first down. Part of this the embedded fear that Romo will throw a pick and is a lack of faith in Romo by the coaches. But, even so, the conservative play-calling on offense should have won the game. The history of the Cowboys playing conservatively to try to close out wins with slim leads is a rocky one and, apparently, has no impact on the thoughts of how coaches should close out games with a lead. Execute or bust...and Cowboys bust given that opportunity. 3.) Tyron Smith commits a holding penalty on a running play in last series that stops the clock instead of running down the clock to about 30 seconds instead of the 1 minute plus left in game. No excuse for that whatsoever. He effectively claims the "goat" title. 4.) Barry Church gets hurt on the field during last drive stopping the clock instead of it continuing to run. Just something that happens with the Cowboys to add to the debacle. 5.) Cowboys have no answer for Megatron/Stafford combination. Carr is burned relentlessly all game. 6.) Statistically, Cowboys should not have been in this game. Only the 4 turnovers kept the Cowboys in this game but wasn't enough with the offense sputtering otherwise. And, there you have it. Cowboys still hold the title of dumbest team in the NFL every year.
