Not happy with the SNF and MNF , two mediocre games at best.

I hope Fox Houston selects SFO @ DET for their early game, but I'm fine with CAR @ ATL too.

Must win for the Eagles if they want to stay in the playoff hunt. Luckily the NFC is sucking hard this year otherwise they might already be out of it.

I don't think Eagles have a chance at wildcard , they have to win the division to be in the playoffs . Lions , Saints, Packers , Niners look like playoff teams . only leaves nfc east winner and one more wild card. Either between Atlanta , Dallas, Washington,NYG , Philly , Chicago.

Do you see the teams you named? That's exactly why Philly, with a win, would still be in the hunt for the division or a wild card spot.

    1. Atlanta overachieved last year.

    2. Dallas is erratic.

    3. Washington hasn't really played anybody yet. Giants, Rams, Cardinals are not quality wins.

    4. Chicago can't keep Cutler upright and their defense might not be able to hang with some of the offenses they play.

    5. New York is going nowhere at the moment. They won the Cardinals game on a technicality and got beat by a poor Seattle team.

The Eagles play each of the teams above as well, starting with Washington then their bye which would allow Cole and Peters (best defensive and offensive linemen) to get healthy. If they can get a win, they still have a shot but the Washington game is no gimme.

No doubt the Eagles have to take care of biz inside the division , but it seems NFC is lil bit down from the yrs past. I still cannot understand how the Eagles are 1-4 , granted that i don't watch their games.

The Eagles won't be in the hunt for crap until they fix that defense. The Giants and Redskins aren't great, but they're good enough to take what will most likely fall in their laps.

3 of their four losses were when they were leading in the 4th quarter. The defense cannot stop the run or screen passes. It's as simple as that.

Atlanta owns the tiebreaker with Philly since Atlanta already beat them.

Also Philly schedule worse than Atlanta

    Philly still has to play
    New England
    NY Jets
    Giants
    Cowboys twice
    Redskins twice

    Eagles are finished

We shall see. I knew Atlanta owned the tiebreaker but I doubt it matters much. Giants and Cowboys face games where they're not favored to win this week and the Eagles could be 2-4 in the mix with the best record in the divison 3-2. Don't write them off yet.

Well I hope I'm wrong. I'm a Vick fan so I hope they win that division.

Still don't understand hiring Castillio as the DC when he hasn't coached defense since high school. Expectations too high to be experimenting like that.

Here are the problems I see:

Offensive line: Still can't protect Vick and it helped cause 2 of his 4 interceptions this past week. Mudd prefers undersized linemen and it kills them in the red zone put 300+ pound Jamaal Jackson in there instead of 280 Kelce and you might get that freaking yard!!!

Linebackers: This corp is not built for wide-9 schemes. Can't shed blocks, can't cover, etc. They had a chance to sign Tulloch instead they let him go to Detroit and they run the wide-9 and have a prety good defense.

Safeties: Nate Allen looks like he is coming back into form but Page misses tackles left and right. Yank him!

Cornerbacks: The Eagles zone schemes do not favor their cornerbacks as they are all stronger in man coverage.
