Oh I agree with that - but I'm just arguing against the idea that they'll be competitive against the Patriots. I think the games against the Patriots and Texans will be blowouts. They are still the favorite for the 6th playoff seed, but I suspect that they'll also get blown out in the first round of the playoffs, whoever they play.

(on a side note, the Patriots are the opposite of the Colts. They are blowing out the majority of their opponents, and their 3 losses are by a combined 4 points.)

Against the Texans? Most likely b/c they have a great defense.

Against the Pats? Unlikely b/c Luck will tear that secondary apart.

More so than the Ravens, this is huge for the Bengals and Colts. If you guys go 2-3, or even 1-4 in the 5 games before that week 16 match-up with Cincy, they could have a real chance to slide into the Wild Card. I wonder what kind of rib injury it is to be considered rare and dangerous?

Yeah, after I posted, I read an article that says that it's a dislocated rib that has a chance of pressing against his aorta. Scary stuff.

Ben is tougher than Schaub. He'll play this weekend.

Hopefully Campbell earns his money, he's pretty decent at protecting the ball so as long as the Bears don't get turnover happy again, ala this past Sunday night, think they'll have a good shot at winning SF.

Considering this is around the 5th concussion for Cutler, it's best to play it safe.

Was still holding onto a tiny shred of hope that Roethlisberger would return, sadly not the case. Final butcher's bill is bigger than I anticipated.

What does Schaub have to do with Big Ben?

He's out. His body is breaking down.

Because he was hurt bad in the Broncos game and came right back in the game. That was the analogy.

Ben will not play because even he is not stupid enough to risk his life. Has nothing to do with toughness. If anything, his toughness has cost the Steelers games in the past. He's played games he had no business playing and they lost many of those.
