I know the Wiz are bad but c'mon you can't beat the Knicks without Stoudemire and Melo...... this is what we Rocket fans were praying for and the Knicks continue to win.:(

Considering a NY Knicks team without Amare, Melo and his first option is freaking Tyson Chandler, I'd say Lin did a pretty solid job running the offense, no matter which team he faced.

I mean, look at those players, Chandler, Jefferies, Novak, Walker, Fields, Shumpert, my god, Chandler is the biggest name on that team right now. IMO, the telent level of this team is among the bottom 10 of the NBA, at best. And yet they toyed the wizards tonight.

    Lin is impressive.

Bottom 10 offensively, but probably top 10 defensively...good enough to beat the wizards

Like Tracy McGrady fans being jealous of other players and team success?

Oh, since you TOFs want some knowledge, Tracy played for the Knicks and he sucked. They only traded for him so they can clear space for Melo/Amare cause Tracy was making $25 million/ year.

It's only been three games, but with Lin's emergence, we're also seeing better play out of Chandler, Novak, and Shumpert as a SG. A healthy Amare coming in for Jeffries should also be a boost (assuming he's 100%).

The odd man out, at least to me, is Melo. If he's healthy, he commands 30+ mins per night, leaving a number of players who've been playing well and contributing at a high level out of the lineup. If you're the Knicks, I figure you have to consider shopping Melo, no? If you're the Rockets, do you try to make a move here?

It's a band-aid. He cut on the chin earlier in the game.

Nice to see Steve Novak getting some minutes.

I believe the key to D'Antoni's system is the point guard.
People are blaming Melo, but losing Billups was a big deal.

Lin, Shumpert, Fields, JJ, Chandler is an awesome truly awesome defensive lineup. And everyone except JJ can score a bit here and there.

If Melo and Amare can do their thing on the offensive end, then the defensive lineup above can shut the other team down and its game over.

    Time to bring back JVG!!!
