Harden should have won it. Curry and Klay were not passing to him. Westbrook was selfish and Harden still had a great stat line.

agreed kerr is very smart, before that last timeout the ref was maybe at 2 seconds in a potential 5 second count.... and curry called timeout when harden was wideopen..... i was like wtf curry pass him the ball

this rockets/ warriors rivalry is more real than you think...

curry was also freezing out harden a heck of a lot during the late stages of the game

Yeah, Harden played like an MVP.

This also showed why he could not stay in OKC. Westbrook took all the shots.

Second best thing to happen--Curry also did not win the MVP.

So was Chris Paul. But in the end who cares. Harden will win the MVP of the league.... If it isn't rigged. That is a big IF

Curry's a lock as long as the media pumps him up as the savior of heaven and earth, but Harden clearly the more valuable player. It's beyond obvious at this point.

Why do I feel like Harden will be robbed of that as well

    Westbrook: 41/5/1/3 on 28 shots
    Harden: 29/8/8/2 on 16 shots

Maybe im a biased rockets fan, but harden deserved the mvp.He had the most complete game, (other than maybe lebron) had he been more selfish he would have won it...

If anything, Harden and WB should have shared MVP.

WB took Kobe's role as the one responsible for taking the majority of the shots. I believe he took more that 20% of the West's shots. 41 points and 1 assist is Kobe-esque.

Would much rather have a player with 29/8/8 on greater than 50% shooting and what 7 threes? Dude was spectacular.

I'd say Harden left this All-Star weekend with his MVP campaign on the rise.

He was in-demand from sponsors and the media. He had the personality to step out, no longer shrinking back.

In the introduction, he was paired with Lebron. He scored off Lebron on several face-offs.

He has a real chance at it. Now to get ready for the rest of the season.

What became clear tn is that Harden will dominate the league for years to come and CP3 will have to suck up to him pretty soon Curry is up there too
Westbrook is a beast but Harden is an all around player like Bron is but with better shooting not saying hes better than Bron but soon he will overwhelm bron

Yea I agree. I am obviously a biased Rockets fan but you are probably right. I think Curry will have to either fall off drastically or get hurt for Harden to win.

Lebrona stats look goos but not harden efficient...

Harden did his stats with 5 mins less and he had 7/12 threas same as korver.

    Its bs

You said Westbrook had less than a point per shot. He had 41 points on 28 shots, so he was pointing out your mistake.

I'm really nervous if the Rockets have to play Golden State in the playoffs. You can see how Curry is being marketed as the next big star.

Remember how the refs blatantly screwed the Rockets last year against Portland? The campaign to establish Lillard as "the man" was in full effect. Well, you can expect that to an even higher degree if the Rockets play the Warriors.

The Rockets will have to beat both the Warriors and the refs. Nothing must be allowed to endanger the plans of the league's marketing machine.

You should be thankful. I rather Harden get extra rest in an exhibition game then be played more.

Skip is a notorious Westbrook hater. This is more about Westbrook than about Harden.
