Can't say enough about Norris' performance tonight and Sat, the dude has been fantastic and STOOD UP big time tonight.

 

CJ's been seeing a lot of different stuff over the last few games.

 

Sanchez has been playing with a sense of urgency for the last few innings, not so surprisingly.

 

Reyes is like The Joker when he gets on base - never stops smiling.

 

What the %^$^ was that? Q?

 

That was bad. Uncharacteristic for Q for sure.

 

Lopez has been clutch.

You can see why Landlord wants to have his babies.

 

Easily one of Q's best ABs of the season.

 

Nice AB for Q, the bunt try was by it self pretty sweet. :grin:

 

Nice to see Bourn lay down a good bunt.

Forced a difficult play. That'll end up being an error once in a while.

 

BAD night for Sanchez, all his flaws were exposed.

 

No insurance runs. Should've been able to get something there. Poor ABs for Sanchez and Pence.

This has been a great series... close, tense games dominated by pitching and defense for the most part.

I suppose that holding a 1-run lead to split would only be an appropriate finish.

 

Lyon worked Wright over in 3 pitches.

Let's hope that's a sign of what's to come.

Truth be told, the Mets should have probably swept this series. Three ABs are all that stood in their way lol...AMAZING.

Pence with a sliding catch out of nowhere. The camera barely picked it up.

Fitting end.

 

In the same vein, not much stood in the way of the Astros sweeping the series.

Interesting, in Brad's post-game interview Fallas(I think) asked him if Blummer was the everyday guy at 2nd and he sounded like that wasn't going to happen. Stated that playing him everyday would be "to much to ask" so I wonder if they intend to use Manzella at 2nd or SS and move Angel to 2b? Also wonder if they still intend to move him if the opportunity comes up?

 

Perhaps he had mad diarrhea
