Woody had given up runs in the first inning of his last 3 starts. So good start for him tonight.

I was about to rip on Morgan but he hit that double. Well played Mr. Ensberg.

Any word on why Berkman isn't in the lineup tonight?

AW... I was just thinking to myself how funny it would be if woody pitched a no hitter.

Does it seem like any time the Astros score some runs for Woody, he immediately give a couple back?

You often see a pitcher get burned because they had success with a pitch earlier in the count and they go to the well once too often. Williams got Delgado to swing early at a breaking pitch and then left the same pitch in the fat part of the plate a couple pitches later. Oh well. Williams is not going to pitch a shut out anyway.

The Texas game springs to mind. We got a 1-0 lead in the first but they tied the game in the bottom of the inning and took the lead in the 2nd. We scored 2 in the 5th to take the lead and he promptly gave up 3 more runs(in what would become an 8 run inning for the Rangers).

Lance has been horrible against Glavine. Both he and Garner agreed that it'd be better if he sat. Garner said he'd probably be put into the game once Glavine got pulled.

    Borokowski makes me sick.

I'm starting to like the way Miller is pitching recently also.

This is where not having Lidge is hurting...sigh...

On the positive side, nice outfield throws by Pence and Burke tonight.

I don't get it. Why would you put Palmiero in to bunt? Why not put Oswalt in who's good at sacrificing and save Palmiero for when you want somebody to actually swing the bat? Oswalt has more experience putting down a bunt than Palmiero does.
