Nice of you to jump in after it's tied. Could have used your enthusiasm last inning.

Wow. Gattis hit a low and away slider. That's a god damn miracle.

He also has to avoid looking at hittable pitches.

It would be appropriate for #16 to win the game with a single here.

Can live with that inning. But weak batting in the clutch by White and Kemp. K and foul out.

Is Gurriel injured? I know he's had a tough stretch recently but figure he'd be a PH option with game on the line..

mick and cardpire. I was mostly talking about the whining before the game started about Marwin hitting #2. Admittedly, I didn't turn the game on until Springer's ab in the 9th as I was watching the debate. I can't speak to Hoyt. I won't say it wasn't weird that he would've been put in for the 8th but I'm sure there was a reason. But the whining this earlier about Marwin is certainly funny in hindsight as he is 2/4 with a double, rbi and moved Springer to 3rd in the 9th.

i think we're simply running on a empty tank. You can only expect the team to give so much, overall i think the astros were expecting either white or reed to fill a major hole. The astros took the cheap way out and it came back and bit them in the ass. We need to sign a big bat this off season and get a legit ace for this team. No question

Amazing that they decide to pitch to that dude with the season on the line and his BA against Gregerson. Walk him and take your chances with Cruz.

I do think Hinch has done a great job inside the clubhouse but man he has been awful in-game for the last month or so. Just ignorant decision making.

Even worse, it was with 2 strikes. Gotta bury that in the dirt.
