Yes, let's talk about possible signs of dementia.

Kamala has a real attractive older woman vibe. Would be a real sexy choice for Vice President.

No one really cares even if there are some early signs of dementia. I don’t at least. Biden will have the appropriate staff and decision-making around him. The Trump administration is grossly incompetent. Not to mention Biden’s gaffes have been going on for years so the dementia angle is overstated. Biden would have to regress a lot more for it to matter. He can still recite policy proposals remarkably well even if he gets names mixed up sometimes.

Let's not mention Joe's problem during the Primary and hope that folks don't notice during the General. That is the moderate and best way to defeat Trump. To address it now is just being a toxic Bernie Bro or Trumpster.

This is for Bernie not Biden -- Bernie's heart was further broken on Super Tuesday -- no need to put him in a dangerous situation.

I think it’s a response to the chaotic CBS debate in South Carolina. And Biden is taller so if anything a seated debate levels the playing field for Bernie

Right so when Trump continuously replaces positions on his staff, does that mean he is removing some swamp but accidentally replacing it with more swamp? So he can’t tell the difference between swamp and non-swamp people? I’ve yet to see anything to indicate Trump is a competent or effective leader

Guess I am confused... is a town hall type debate, where average Americans can ask the candidates questions now considered "deep state"? Does Biden somehow have an unfair advantage at answering questions from average Americans?

Should we discuss Sanders cardiac issues or just hope folks don't notice in the general if he wins the nomination?

So the argument is to have a mentally compromised old man, because he'll do what his advisors say? Make the Swamp Great Again 2020, that they're willing to do this to an ill, rapidly declining old man should be all a normal human being needs to know about them.

The gaffes, which these aren't like, he's a guy who always bullshitted as much as Trump, this isn't that, and worse yet the stutter angle his pr teams are thrusting forward, something the man has ne ne ne never had

This is reminiscent of that last year or so of Reagan, wilful ignorance, we must believe, we must believe, we must believe, except it was easier to hide then (and he wasn't trying to campaign with it).

These are the same people, who the current occupier of the white house has put the american economy in its best state for decades by doing the exact opposite of what they suggest, and there's still a serious possibility that his opponent will be a person who just wants to burn it all to the ground, 75% or so of the country has a first choice of either Trump or Bernie, and they are the reason this happened.

“mentally compromised” lol. I applaud the effort to turn this into semantics, but the truth is that he forgets names and makes goofy little mistakes sometimes. Something that all humans do but elderly people tend to do more often. He’s running a nationwide campaign remarkably well; something that none of us here are capable of doing. Every presidential candidate will be fairly picked on for at least one thing or another. Biden’s alleged senility is the 2020 version. Bernie’s “socialist dystopia” goes along with that. In reality they’re both decent, smart gentlemen with lots of experience. That’s it.

this Trump economy you reference, that’s far more likely to remain intact with Biden. Bernie has more unknown variables and he’s done little to address those concerns. Ergo Biden has a safer, familiar campaign that is more palatable to Americans. Plus, Biden has ideas that fall in line with modern progressive values on climate change, education, etc. In short, Biden won’t cause the markets to collapse with fear, is a respectable human being, and adds enough progressive mindset and down-ballot appeal so Congress can address glaring issues in society. I’ll take his occasional mental lapse. If he can’t run in 4 years, so be it. Right now he seems just fine

I think Joe makes a great case for why so many people trust Bernie that I've said before here:
