Given the injuries meaning that there will be even worse protection for the QB, even worse blocking for the run game, and the most reliable receiving target overall in terms of getting open and actually catching the ball along with being the best blocking TE unavailable due to a concussion....I could really see the Texans lose this game unless the defense steps up. Maybe Nuk or Fuller will finally have good games where they get open and catch the ball, but you can't count on that. Maybe the run game will still work despite the downgrade in blocking. I dunno, it just sounds like too much to overcome.

One thing we for sure can count on is Brock throwing a pick or two this game, making poor reads, and being all around inaccurate. Definitely need the other guys to carry him like they have done for all 7 victories this year.

And even if he throws no picks, doesn't make poor reads, isn't inaccurate and he plays really well, we can absolutely count on multiple "Texans fans" claiming that he was terrible.....because certain "Texans fans" can't do any better than inaccurate, short sighted, lazy ass analysis.

Breakout game for Anderson. 50 yards / 1 TD.

I expect our team to have about 70 rushes.

Aboushi is actually better at run blocking then Allen.

    You are probably right.

Missing Fiedorowicz will hurt in the run game, but him being out eliminates the best receiving target on the team. If someone doesn't step up be it Nuk, Fuller, Anderson, or Griffin then yeah, you'll have to run early and often.

The defense has to catch the ball for there to be an INT. Brock has had a couple of 0 INT games where the defense has failed to catch balls thrown at them. Jacksonville only has 3 INTs all season. And they're a dejected team right now. If we get up early, it's over and we'll be running it all game. So there's a decent chance Brock might escape Sunday without a pick.

I have continually advocated playing Joseph at WR to break up potential interceptions

This game is now looking really losable. Sigh. With the weather in KC, the Titans might pull out the win.

It's actually good news that we are playing the Jags. Against a decent team we would lose for sure.

True, but every team looks like a good team when we play them unfortunately. I wonder where we rank in league team injuries this year. Everyone BUT Brock seems to miss games. Bad luck indeed. I'm sure he would play with pneumonia though, because he wouldn't want Savage to show him up.

    Nervous about this game.

It'd be nice to blow them out so that Savage got some PT, but something tells me even if we're up 60-0, Brock could still use the PT.

No way Savage plays unless Brock gets hurt. Bill won't dare admit Brock isn't our best option, and wouldn't want Savage throwing, EVEN if he was forced to bring him in, because he wouldn't want comparisons.
