What waste of tax payer money. That roof is not good for growing grass, and most of the time it is closed.
So pissed that Austin is showing the Cowboys. Anyone know a bar/restaurant in the north part of town that would be showing the Texans w/sound? May just end up going to bdubs where I'm sure they'll have the Cowboys sound on, but its better than nothing.
Doesn't make any sense at all. It's between 50 and 80 degrees. Very little chance of rain. Is it too sunny? Pretty weak. And an expensive roof to always keep closed.
Per the Texans: "The 50/80 rule is a guideline that we created to give fans an expectation of what roof decision to expect on gameday. For every game, however, we evaluate the roof decision on a case-by-case basis examining all relevant weather and stadium factors. The decision to close the roof for today’s game was made in the best interest of fan comfort and our game experience. Thank you and have a great day!" Ugh...
I'm debating trying out Third Base in Round Rock or Fast Eddies...if I can't find a decent stream. Then again, I might just listen on 1300 while cleaning my garage and drinking my own beer and eating the chili I already have going.

I wish the league could shedule Texans games so there wasn't a conflict with cowboy games. I hate that it seems we are always deferring to cowboy games for viewing pleasure locally. There is nothing pleasurable to me about watching Dallas games unless it's after the Texans have won that weekend and I can enjoy another cowboy debacle.
Im also in the DFW area and wont be able to watch this game. Is there a thread specific for game links here like there is for the rockets?

Not guaranteeing that this will stay up or be lag free because these stream sites get very busy around game time but here's a link. http://roxbball.wix.com/none
Went to Kroger this morning and the cashier didn't let me buy beer :-( so even though I wanted to stay home to watch the game I may need to go elsewhere.
Welcome to Texas... can't buy beer/wine before noon on sunday, and can't go to a liquor store on sundays period. One bright spot of playing at the same time as the cowgirls is that all the cowgirl fans in Houston have nowhere to watch their team play today.
