To predict the outgame of this game is to predict which Texans team will show up. Will the sluggish-on-the-lines, uncreative, self-out-Kubiaked Texans kick four field goals and lose by two? Or will the merciless juggernaut have them down 17 by the half? Hopefully it will be fun to watch. Hopefully we're not all here melting down again next Monday.
The El Paso Texans and their weapons of Matt cassel, Barry Foster, and tight end Owen wilson will be too much for the jaguars. I'm confident they will out scheme that terrific defense of the Jaguars. I can also see Abraham joseph getting a pick six in this game. Best regards, M. Albert.
Gonna be nice to have AJ back. I'd like to see the Jags try and shut down our offense. It's easier to shut down a mediocre offense like Ravens. Gabbert really has no pocket presence so any type of pressure brought on by our LBs and linemen will affect him.
Thinking the Texans have a letdown after the big win against the Titans, but still eek out the victory. Texans - 17 Jax - 13
The opening line has us as 9.5 pt favorites. Which I think is ridiculous, I still think we pull this off, with or without AJ. Jags 13 Texans 24
Anyone know what AJ's status is for the game? I really need him this week since Turner and Forte are on a bye..
Foster stated somethin to the effect he is just now gettin in game shape. Really? If you can do what only 3 players did the last 30 yrs. (100-100-3td+) and just now be gettin into game shape...wow...plus I am hopin so much Andre plays, we missed more than I thouht we would besides the titans game.
hard to see us not winning this game handedly but then again this is the texans.... the jags defense looked alright last night but it's hard to judge when the ravens offense just looked flat-out terrible. as much as i'd like to see AJ out there, i think you let him rest up this week just to play it safe... or at the very least, limit his play.
Texans 52 Jaguars 13 We have AJ and Casey back. Line's supporting cast after Mario's departure shows up again. MDJ doesn't get "his." Duly noted. Good point. Steelers beat every team in the division except for the TEXANS, too. Hey, ima what did you think of the Titans coach's job? Good? Bad? So-so?
Munchak looked totally in over his head. Felt bad for the guy, actually. Still too early in his HC career to judge though.
Since when does "hope" mean "will'? Seriously, I want Andre to play but I also don't want him to come back to soon and re-injure himself.
Kuharksy's comment from this weeks ESPN Power Rankings: "Should be 6-3 after visits from the Jaguars and Browns, but they don't always do what they should." So true.
I have a Texans insider source that says he will play. Also see if you can buy low on Kyle Orton bc he's gonna be the starting qb again, Felix Jones will get 95% of the carries, and Anthony Fasano is the next Jimmy Graham. Oh and Volek should take rivers' spot anytime now.
