I grieve for all the wins Gerrit Cole has been denied since becoming an Astro. Guy should have easily been a 20+ game winner last year. I made a post last year detailing all the egregious Cole Ls or NDs in my opinion. Anyway, it's likely up over a dozen wins denied at this point, probably more. Maybe we should make a memorial somewhere in Houston where we can lay baseballs representing each Cole win that never was.
Doors open at 4:30 for the game day giveaway? Goddam?! Lol my nephew wanted me to take him early to get one but Fck that.. I don’t wanna be there from 4-10
i bet my cleveland buddy that we'd win the series. we have a beer mile riding on it (loser has to run a mile & drink one beer for each quarter mile). he still owes me a beer mile from the texans browns game...
I'm can't remember ever doing that. Seems it has been possible though at some stadiums, though not really anymore. Seems too easy to sneak in if you could (and they don't want you eating/drinking outside).
Too many pitches in the 1st, but McHugh looks good again so far. Yep, you had to get your ticket scanned as you left and re-scanned as you re-enter (to prevent people sneaking in) Used to get there early, watch a little oppo BP, have a beer, grab whatever giveaway if there was one, then go grab a few beers elsewhere for an hour or so.
You could do it at Minute Maid. They scan your ticket acknowledging you exited and you just scan it again to re enter. Per Buck they don’t do this anymore but I’ve done it as recently as 2017. Used to get a bobble head and then put it in the car and grab some Jackson st BBQ.
Horrible AB by Springer Good lord, Lindor golfed that one a long way. Ball was 4 inches off the dirt.
I've never checked before, I've always just assumed I couldn't anywhere. You apparently still can in Busch Stadium.
