    Good so far
    but

We dont have a legit #3 RECEIVER. And Kevin Walter is a #3 "masquerading" as a 2, man! I have faith in Lestar Jean someday somehow though he's always hurt, but not in Walter who's been there and producing, but still how are we gonna beat NEW ENGLAND without that?

Martin is playing pretty well, so was Lestar before his injury.

Regardless, why do we need a capable #3 receiver when we have options from out tight end, running back, and full back?

Kevin Walter has been a solid #2. There's absolutely no reason to complain about him thus far this season.

Maybe we can get Jacoby back, or a host of other would be #2 receivers that wont/can't do the dirty work. Or one who will be there EVERY game, make drive saving catches and take a pay cut for the better of the team. - When we get that guy, I suspect Walter will be the first to step back and find another way to help.

What an appropriate user name! Great post!! Can't have 11 Pro Bowl players on offense, need some system guys and #83 just shows up every week and does his job. Kubiak must love being able to count on him to be a professional.

You completely failed to address the fact that he looks like a cheesedick

Not to take away from anything the Texans are doing because they are killing the opposition, but I've never understood why fans pay attention to these type of rankings or polls at the pro level.

Since a lot of people are saying the Texans are now the best team in the league, every single team we play will be an inferior opponent. And thus, every win will come with a built-in "yeah but....."

Because usually for Houston fans, the media NEVER pays any attention to what historic eclipses (whether it be league wide or franchise) the cities sports teams may accomplish. But if you were to say the Packers or Cowgirls went 4-0 they'd surely receive the praises from up above and beyond... it's kinda nice to get some type of recognition one way or another.

Perfect example was the Rox 22 game win streak, had it been LA or NY that made that feat we'd still be hearing about it thru the media..... since it came from the lowly Rockets, that's in the distant past and it'll never ever be brought up again, unless another team gets even halfway close to that mark.

    The story of the underdog.

I'm not into the national narratives about pro teams either, not anymore. Especially this day and age where you can get inside info from multiple sources. (And fantasy football know-it-alls overrating their own football analysis)

The key is more to not let the "rich get richer" in media BIAS. To not have bigger markets get a competitive edge in RECRUITING the talent.

After that, most everything is settled on the field.

We don't need a 2rd wr. We have Owen Daniels, James Casey, and good receiving backs.

The right side of the oline concerns me most.

Why have this thread, right?

Unless... we play the 49ers... or Falcons... or Ravens... right...? RIGHT?!??

After so many years of suffering through David Carr, Ron Dayne, Ahman Green, Sage Rosenfels, Chris Brown, etc. etc., can this really be happening? Somebody pinch me.
