Sure, but in terms of advanced metrics MJ, LeBron, and Wilt's best offensive seasons still beat out this year's Harden. I think Harden hurts his numbers a bit due to turnovers. But as I said, 16-17 Harden is up there with Kobe, Magic, and Bird's best seasons, which is pretty good company to be with.
You could also argue guys like David Robinson, Steve Nash and Charles Barkley were better regular season offensive performers than Hakeem. But they got zero rings until Tim Duncan came along because they either played worse in the playoffs or played no defense. Hakeem was also busy being the #1 defensive player of all time.
out of curiosity, how did you vote on this poll? extra credit question: by virtue of asking this question, are the Houston Rockets themselves part of the media conspiracy? discuss.
Poster said, "especially" on offense. Sounds like he considered "not just" offense. Harden might outdo Dream offensively in the regular season.
Regardless of stats, Hakeem's offense is EASILY more unique and unduplicated. The Euro-step is executed by many, but none can Shake.
I didn't vote The correct answer is "This thread and this website you are posting on would not exist without Hakeem Olajuwon"
I remember the Dream documentary whereby it stated that he had a better chance of scoring despite double and triple teams. I'm not sure JH13 will reach that level of offensive mastery for all his prowess.
I'm thinking these newbs have never seen one player dominate on both ends of the court. It's not a coincidence that LeBron, Tim Duncan, Shaq/Kobe won so many championships. I'm happy with what Harden is doing, but people jumping the gun on accomplishments that have not happened yet is just what newbs do. also I think this generation cares more about twitter/instagram/facebook likes than actual championships #real
Don't own a PS4. Street Fighter has gotten worse over the years, they ran out of ideas. I like that Mortal Kombat has included cool characters like Jason, the Predator and the Alien. Hope they have the Terminator one day.
