I think it's because of stuff like this:

Good grief. You really cannot make this stuff up.

Markey, Cortez and quite a few other Democrats call a press conference and make a big production about the "Green New Deal" that they are announcing and promoting. Did you guys see that? They were so excited and the media was obviously delighted to help them promote it.

And now they are objecting to their proposal being debated and voted on in the US Senate? How is that possible? Why did they - members of the US Congress - propose it if they did not want to see it voted on? Is that not what these people are elected to do? An even bigger question than that is why the Democrat controlled House is apparently not going to debate or vote on it at all.

Could someone who supports this agenda please explain to us why they propose something like this, in highly celebratory and very public fashion, and then are opposed to debating or voting on the measure that they all publicly supported?

What is the meaning of this?

climate change is an urgent issue, but its not that urgent. we've got like atleast 12 years to pass this.

I also want to point out that Cocaine Mitch busted out the green tie for his Green New Deal vote announcement.

No doubt a poorly constructed plan with zero chance or happening.

The GOP keeps stumbling over immigration and moving the goal posts.... the Democrats said “Hold my beer”.

Lol, sounds like you put your blinders on and screamed loudly to make sure the truth didn't get into that skull of yours.

Sorry you don't know reality, but Trump's real war is on legal immigration from brown countries. Looks like you are a sheep and don't want to see the truth.

That's a really bad analogy. Why don't you elaborate on it.

That how the GOP can’t compromise or come up with a viable immigration plan, a topic they’ve thrown political weight at, is similar to this fantasy GND plan?
