As always, no PBP in the thread. If you need that try one of the game cast sites. Keep discussion to this series. If it is not about this series it goes somewhere else. 8-28 Matt Cain, RHP vs. Bud Norris, RHP 7:05 on FSH 8-29 Barry Zito, LHP vs. Dallas Keuchel, LHP 7:05 on FSH 8-30 Ryan Vogelsong, RH vs. Jordan Lyles, RHP 7:05 on FSH

Coming from Giants fan perspective, I'm actually pretty nervous for this series. Around the same time last year, Astros took 2/3, I believe. Anything can happen in baseball, and the Giants better not underestimate.

The one guy in the pen who is truly proven. It isn't like he is getting lit up though. Its why guys with great K stuff are so valuable, which isn't Lopez's game. Not as easy to escape once you've made a mistake.
There were cheers for every Giants hit. Bigger cheers for Hunter though. There might be more Giants fans than Astros fans in the ballpark tonight. Wallace's double didn't even get much audible applause. PS - Thank you Brad Mills for never batting Wallace against lefties. He obviously can't hit them.
Giant fans are all over the place. For instance, San Diego has been known to be the home away from home for the Giants.
