You mean Josh Smith, the idiot who he's left in since the 6 minute mark in the 3rd, entering right when Jones started to get active, and who he didn't take out the rest of the way even though he's ****ing up almost every offensive and defensive possession?
Although I don't feel McHale needs 100 percent of the blame tonight, this team is just too dumb and plays undisciplined which is a poor reflection of leadership/coaching.
People will pin it on McHale because this team was obviously not prepared for this game. Terrible game plan, just not a disciplined team. That's coaching.
i had kept away from this thread for a few good months..thinking that mchale had turned the corner, but this was a travesty... what the hell did you do last week?
Fire him right after this game 1 debacle He is a coward and was thoroughly out coached He inspired zero confidence Let JB Bickerstagg take over
I predict McHale's post-game comments will include an order of "they didn't play with enough energy" and a side of "we need to play faster".
If we lose this series, I predict Les will grant McHale an extension for perpetuity and make him coach for life.
If we're stuck with McHale, then we might as well blow it up now, cuz I rather start fresh now than endure 3 more years of this BS THEN blow it up.
blake griffin in post game interview: "we trust the system, we just ran our offense" must be nice to have a system and offense
A well coached team doesn't lose that game by 16 points. McHale isn't fully to blame but he for damn sure isn't helping. The Rockets beat themselves more than any other team in the league. This is the exact same effort they put forth in a big closeout game against the Mavs but unfortunately the Clippers aren't trash.
