Capela should've played 30+ tonight. We had Smoove as our only big with Ariza playing the 4. SMH. Infuriating.

I've said it a lot but it still amazes me how stupid McHale is. It's crazy

Come playoff time all these coaching mishaps will cost us games.

Like I have said McHale is a tactically inept coach unable to think on his feet

What kind of stupid last play was that?

We were in switch mode. DeRozan should have been double teamed immediately with how hot he was. McHale doesn't make game time adjustments though (See LMA playoff performance).

I was ok with him taking out Capela around the 6 minute mark for a breather. He should have been back with 2 minutes to go (so they couldn't intentionally foul him).

Did you see that beautiful call that gave an open 3 to Ariza the time out before.
Is not his fault that the refs didn't call time out and gave the raptor another position

LOL. Letting Harden guard DeRozan the whole game. Taking out Capella. Whatever that last play was. smh.

Queue the brigade who rides in on their horses thinking that because we have a lot of wins it's a reflection of good coaching.

Time and time and time and time and time again.

Always the same. Stupid decisions in crucial moments.

Those crucial moments are multiplied 10 fold in the Playoffs.

McHale's pathetic coaching IQ is going to even further multiplied in the Playoffs.

"but but but. 50 wins. he iz good coach you stoopid"

Ariza guard him also and got burn and that last play was on Ariza who panic and took a contested 3 we a lot of time on the clock. James Harden play beautiful defense DeRozan just make the shoot, when the refs gave him an extra possession by not calling the time out.

Also the same people repeating the exact same things. Probably the same people who claimed McHale would never coach defense last year either. DeRozen made a contested mid-range jumper. If a player can make that shot, you tip your hat.

And before people make the "he was hot" claim, DeRozen was 4-14 on jumpshots before the last one.

He ****ed up by not putting Capella in after the 2 minute mark. Foolish foolish foolish.

He will be a reason we lose at least 1 game come playoffs guaranteed

I normally don't mind McHale but going small for so long in the 4th cost us the game.

Nothing infuriates me more with McHale than when there is somebody absolutely torching us and zero adjustments are made. DeRozan is the latest example.

It's so frustrating because this team has potential, I just feel McHale will **** it up some type of way. Les cheap ass will never fire him under contract. Three more wasted years with this idiot. There's no good reason to believe as hard as the West is that this team can overcome McHale when it really counts. It's just frustrating man...

Only the idiots on CF's would think the Rockets are now doomed because McHale wouldn't play a rookie who was playing in his FIRST real NBA game in crunch time of a close game. Especially after the last 3 plays that rookie was in he was incredibly lost on OFFENSE and clogging up the lane with his mishaps in timing when they were trying to drive and kick.

Capela was the silver lining tonight where he showed the potential he has shown in the D-League that can transfer to the NBA in time, but guys... he's got a long ways to go before ANY NBA coach would trust him in crunch time after its obvious that he has no idea where to be at times.

Maybe its McHale's fault that Capela hasn't played up till this point, but its besides the point. McHale being an idiot for not trusting Capela in crunch time is a dubious argument only made by morons who probably fall in love and stalk strippers too thinking they love them after a lap dance.

Lol potential don't win game healthy bodies do. What happen to SA when the were a little injured, yes fighting for the eight spot.

Cmon man be real these team is playing better that the odds said. Coach have them competing and winning despite of all the injuries.

almost feels like as a fan you are locked in a cage with no way out... i felt that way about rick barnes to the point i stopped watching texas basketball( because i feared he would never be fired). Morey has assembled a group of talented players who are making McHale look good and not the other way around... we thought we could out talent portland last year, but turns out in the playoffs it becomes more x and o's than some meaningless regular season game. Teams scout harder, im still shocked McHale has not drawn up plays to get Harden going off screens off the ball more like he did in okc... that would increase his scoring average by 4 points
