That is going too far, a lot of teams use them but you have to use them with the context of the situation. Having a philosophy saying that shoot every three you can instead of a midrange shot because statistically its better totally disregards every other dynamic in the game. You become stagnant, predictable and sad to watch.
Hyperbole harder dude. This is one of/if not the most entertaining night for night teams in the league.
Its obvious what I meant, when your 3 isn't going in. First half of this game was what I was talking about.
Terrible move to leave Greg Smith in. Mcfail has the youngest team in the league at 6th in the West. Garbage. Fire him.
McHale deserves some serious credit for leaving Greg Smith in instead of going back to Asik. I was pacing in front of my TV during that 4th quarter wondering what the hell he was thinking not putting Asik back in. I was pulling my hair out every time they gave up an offensive board -- but, give him credit, Smith's ability to catch passes, cut to the basket and finish at the rim was absolutely key for the come back and the win.
Rockets are winning in spite of Mchale. Mchale is more of a motivational speaker then he is a coach. Run Harder..Keep doing what you're doing..play defense..get the ball to Harden.. Rockets need a real coach if the want to make it to the promise land.
I thought Mchale was great today by not being Mchale-like and yanking Lin to sit during the 4th&3rd. Oh wait, that doesn't work as a compliment towards Mchale.
gotta give Mchale credit for the second half comeback tonight. Don't really know what he did at half time. I still don't like his rotation and lack of set plays tho. Thank god Harden is efficient.
