I think she messed up when she kept attacking Bloomberg about the same thing over and over... I think it worked the first time and then she came right back to it and I don't think that was a good look for her... T_Man
Just don't think he can go with another 70+ yr old person. I agree that she'd be fantastic in that role. But they'd have to get there and having 2 septuagenarians might not be the best ticket to get that done.
agree; thus, the much younger Cory Booker and Stacy abrams would be better choices. plus, SC’s Clyburn would be either in Biden’s cabinet or his Chief of Staff
NOT Abrams. I don't think she's a good candidate, doesn't guarantee delivery of GA, and has too little name recognition nationally. I think that could be a Palin-level mistake. Ok, maybe not that bad. No one will ever be that bad.
I'm just bitter right now. I don't know that progressives are high on Warren right now. In fact, I'm pretty sure many unfairly see her as public enemy #1 today. But she is a female, and Biden could certainly do worse.
oops. except for one pesky detail Dems, despite their control, all but concede on federal abortion spending After months of tense negotiations, the two parties joined together last week on a government spending framework they insist will swiftly lead to a massive deal to boost agency bottom lines into the fall. https://www.politico.com/news/2022/02/15/ban-federal-funds-abortion-democrats-00008761
Maybe. For a long time a lot of people believed Roe V. Wade would have been a hard decision to overturn.
no I mean really about the "health emergency." After three years of covid, I don't think anyone's ready for a "health emergency"
Warren rejoices Bezos, Musk and other billionaires lose combined $1.4T in first half of 2022 https://thehill.com/policy/finance/...res-lose-combined-1-4t-in-first-half-of-2022/
Oh no! With only 160 billion dollars left, Musk won't be able to spend anything. He'll have to pinch every penny. Same with poor Bezos who is now under 100 million. The poor house and homeless shelters will have to try and find room. And then there is Zuckerberg who's in dire straits with only a mere 60 billion. These guys have plenty to invest into the economy if they wanted. Their influence isn't hurt. They have more than enough to live comfortably and pay their employees. Little to no harm done to them by these losses.
