Wow, this thread quickly drop to the bottom of page 2.

DMo has always been a class act, even after he was shocked that he had been traded. Whether you think he's a good player or not, he should certainly be appreciated.

26 year olds who typically have back problems/surgery do not get better over time.

At least Dwight was an MVP caliber player prior to his problems. DMo was at best a quality bench guy.

He was healthy for how long before reinjuring it this year? Also was largely ineffective the time he did get. Odds are, this won't be the last time his back is an issue. Word is his health was propped up just in time to trade him (otherwise the team would have played/showcased him prior to the deadline... But he wasn't healthy enough).

I'm sure he'll do well in Detroit and we'll miss having a competent PF on the roster. When you've got a cheapskate owner, these kinds of things happen.

I'm sorry. DMo was an important part in saving us last season as a starter when Howard was less than 50% healthy.

He was definitely better than just "a quality bench guy" last season.

He's no star. But let's not rewrite the history just because some blind DMo fans overrate DMo.

But that's what quality bench guys can do... They step in when needed.

While they may have done better in the playoffs with him, they didn't do too bad without him. Again, the typical impact of a role player.

Most importantly, he's been hurt for about a year. And not just any injury, a back injury... A part of the body that rarely improves with time/age/surgery.

My point was, last season was his break out season and he has proven himself to be a quality starter on a good team that won 56 games, not just a quality bench player.

I know about his injury and that is probably why he is traded.

I did not see these two guus being moved whatsoever!

Should of traded Dwight for anything (hate to say it) but now he will be hone for nothing.

I honestly dont want him to sign back again.
