Quite the showing for Javier. Had he not hesitated he probably gets the out at first on Muncy, but can't ask for more. 7 K through 3. Lengthy start was what we needed, not an opener start.

Hope Blake Taylor can build on his strong start too.

I was much more confident in the Astros pen when Javier was in it.

I'm agreeing. I am just providing additional supporting information. I hear all these things complaining about Tucker and all of it is nothing compared to his rolling over on pitches and grounding into the shift.

 

He is a starter and needs to be in the rotation.

 

I'd rather have Verlander.

League average is about 10% regardless of positioning. About 4% into the shift.
