In June, he hit .189, many of those bad at bats vs lefties were on June, where he did not hit much at all vs righties or lefties.

    Right

We are in the thick of a pennant race, it's not the time to see if the publications are right. He has been horrible against lefties, horrible. He will have plenty of chances in his career to hit them, and personally I hope he crushes them. Right now though, with two months left and a division on the line, I don't want this to be the time to experiment with that.

My position is, IF he is hitting, as he is right now, and the lefty in not good vs lefties, i would not mind seeing him playing, especially if not doing it means Gattis at LF and Carter playing.

I can't see how Castro gets the start against a leftie over hammering Hank. That being said, he'll probably hit a 3 run HR.

Conger hits .159 vs lefties, CAstro .215.

Ray is not tough against lefties, and is a day game after a night game

He is more of a reliever, Angels have problems there, i like the Latos vs Rasmus matchup and a sweep for the Dodgers

Yea they said they would be limiting his innings. Wilson going down is huge...surprised they didn't make any push to trade for a SP unless that injury completely blindsided them. They must have confidence in the rest of their rotation

Let's keep it rolling! Finish this home stand on a positive note, then head to Texas and take care of business there.

Here's to Gomez having back to back solid games.

This is my favorite uni combo. The whites with orange looks awesome.

Their system blows. They didn't have what it would take to go get one of the starters on the market even if they wanted to.

Gattis caught a fly ball. Already better defensively than Tucker....I kid.

They are expecting Weaver back, and Heaney has done a very good job. Wilson's injury makes them have to continue pitching Shoemaker, who as a number 5 starter in not bad at all. Now, next on line is Tropeano, and that would be a big difference on talent if compared to Wilson.
