Again, no one is saying that he was good this game, he wasn't, but when you get hit in something like 2.6 seconds after the ball is snapped, you didn't "hold on to the ball too long". That's just simply false, and there's plenty of legitimately bad things he did today to harp on.

A QB that must have everything go perfect for him to have marginal success in the NFL isn't one worth defending. No QB plays under perfect circumstances. The ones that still overcome those and make plays are the ones that deserve praise.

It matters because it's a consistent problem with this coaching staff ... maybe with more time savage doesn't feel so pressured and we have a different outcome , who knows .. a major part of his crappy play seems to be mental, just craps himself under pressure

LOL, Savage having a bad game isn't an excuse for stupid hot takes. They need to be called out when they happen. It just makes the board look bad when dumb comments like that go unchallenged.

What's wrong with Savage is he stands in the same exact spot too long. You gotta have a side step move or something.

I have a bigger problem with BOB calling two timeouts early in the second half then I do with not calling a timeout on that play tbh

But all that said Savage still going to Savage

Tom Savage just isn't a good NFL QB.

I don't know why its even worth debating or discussing or anything.

i don't really think very many people thought he would be good. just some in houston who didn't want to start Watson right away and felt obliged to give their guy a shot.

LOL you aren't going to make this hot take any better by trying to change what you were saying. When a QB gets hit that quickly after the snap, it's on the O line and not on them "holding the ball too long". There's plenty for you to point about by way of Savage doing a bad job, single out one of those things instead.

the problem Tom is that this wasn't a below average performance for you (above average if anything)

Nope he did hold on too long and has no awareness of the pressure which is his other issue. The oline did good enough when he was getting downfield to get him in position to win in the redzone so no bs excuses Savage just choked!.

Lol at Boobythegreat trying to pretend he's one of us,it is known that back in September he has shown time and time again he is a Savage dick rider. Even when da Savior watson was playing well da Savage dick rider would be extremely critical about the Savior Watson's mistakes.
