I know a lot of people are of the mindset that BOB all of a sudden decided to call "good plays"... but a lot of what goes on at the LOS feature adjustments just like this (happened in the Kubiak era too). If defenders lineup a certain way, WR's and QB's know to alter the pre-planned play to a specific route/alternative. This can be done without gesticulating and motioning wildly that an audible is actually happening. Additionally, Brock does get tunnel vision where he forces it. There may be other routes to look for. The above quote neither supports or contradicts that viewpoint (if anything, it may lean towards supporting).
Sunday Night Football hits a 5 yr low in viewership with Texans/Colts OT game Viewership has been very low all season with the boycotting and what not.
I was excited to not lose, the national stage made it even better. Let's just hope they build on this.
I think I said to my wife "well, that was the most un-Texans thing I've ever seen the Texans do"...or something along those lines.
All-time record 6-23 vs IND We've won so few, I can specifically remember each victory.. First time posting B2B wins vs them... making this our first winning streak....
I don't think that would change my enjoyment of football at all really, so if they do, I don't think I'll mind. If they change to flag football in order to avoid concussions then we'll talk.
Say what you want about last night's game, Monday night football tonight has been worse. A snoozer. Both teams have been disappointing. Both QBs have been disappointing. Hot take alert! The Jets and Cardinals make me appreciate the Texans more. There I said it.
If said poster really had an unbiased conversation about football's rule changes outweighing DH vs no-DH, he could. Doesn't want to, though. Imagine current players having ability to say, "screw the concussion, I'm playing". And that's just concussion rules. There are plenty other changes that make current football "flaggier".
