JJ Watt has the freedom to lineup up wherever he wants and freelances a lot, the other linemen/OLBs have to follow their assignments, set the edge, and cover for the gaps JJ leaves open plus mind their gap. In other words, its not just everybody rush to the backfield and whoever got the most sacks/TFLs at the end of the day is the stud. That front line is catered to Watt, and even Clowney will have to follow his assignments before he's given leeway.

Same story for awhile now. JJ Watt accounts for the highest percentage of his team's pass rush since Zeus played LDE for Mt. Olympus in the games against the Titans.

Things will get real ugly for Bill Obrien if he keeps treating this as if it's a college situation. If Hoyer's your guy, then man up and say so. And if you made a mistake, then own up to it.

Moore completely chickens out here, pathetic

So, what's it going to take for Mercilus to set the edge properly?? Pathetic display by the linebackers yesterday.

Run defense was pretty good actually. Got killed on screens and the one long Kelce TD was Kareem thinking they were in man when the rest of the defense was in zone.

The offense will look so much better if/when XSF comes back. And that isn't because he is good it is just that is how bad Jeff Adams is. Might be the worst starting OL man in the league.

"you want to do what’s best for the team?" yeah right. you’re just being arrogant.

we know it’s hoyer you’re starting. why are you costing us games?

"you have to coach better?" please. no such thing. you just yell and act upset, but your players don’t execute.

BOB talks purely out of his ass.

If he hit him there, it would have been a penalty. By the time he was close enough to try anything Kelce had already brought the ball in.

Kelce had caught the ball, but he hadn't landed yet...Moore could have definitely jarred the ball loose. Even if its a penalty...who cares?

They need to get in his ass and show that play to the entire defense.

Well, they might have tacked in on to the kickoff and then the kicker would have kicked it out of the end zone and they would have had to start on their own 20. Oh wait...never mind.

Can't wait to see Kevin Johnson get acclimated to the league. Dude is a player and backs it up on the field with big hits.

He's bringing the ball to his chest. Plenty of time to try and make a hit as he's bringing the ball down, legally, to try and dislodge it.

    That's horrible defense.

As much as Swearinger annoyed me, no way Kelce comes down with that ball if DJ was there.

As much as I love a good sweariinger hit... he was probably halfway to the Oline by this point trying to murder-hit the running back without paying attention to the play...
