Well...that's the thing, right? If you're a good team then you won't keep losing against the bad teams.
The NBA Schedule is structured that the bad teams have a shot at beating the great ones.....just a game of odds. Nobody is unbeaten....the best teams have a record of 9 defeats or 10+ defeats..... Bad teams just have 60-70 defeasts.....it is about number crunching....
It will be tough for him to make this team with the older guys committing. But, he seems like a great fit for a FIBA center. If Embiid or AD gets hurt he's right there.
There’s always have that one last spot that they use on a young guy who won’t play much if at all. It’s been typically a big on the last number of Olympic teams
He isn't a Chet/Wemby build he is pretty similar to Capela/Jarrett Allen/Nicholas Claxton/Lively than Mobley/Wemby/Chet.
Presti could be be the GOAT GM. 2nd time he build a potential generational dynasty and this one is even better cuz he has a mountain of picks he hasn't touched yet. If I'm one of the rich team billionaires like LA or Brooklyn I'm like throwing 50M a year trying to get Presti.
Why didn't they trade for rebounding help? Makes no sense to me for a team with the best record in the WC and such a glaring weakness.
They think they can get rebounding in the draft........because Thunder are good pickers.... But I agree that I would have preferred Olynyk over Hayward because Olynyk played on Team Canada with Dort and SGA.
