Rockets should go after the best available buyout candidate they can and not let them slip to another contender like the Warriors. If they feel like it's taking too long to get Joe Johnson then they should immediately focus on the next player.

Any player the Rockets get will not see much playing time (unless another injury presents itself). So we may have a hard time convincing someone to choose us if that is the case. The only player I can see expendable is Markel "don't call me Chucky" Brown

 

Better to have more quality players waiting on the bench during a deep playoff run.
