Shaq Griffin on twitter in his feelings a little bit about how the Texans let him go. The secondary could use his help right now tbh. Never understood why they felt they were good enough in the secondary to let him go.
My grandma is a huge browns fan. Got her tickets for her bday to this game. My parents and cousin came too. The game was pretty terrible but it was cool to see grandma so happy. And I did have one funny moment: “look at all these ppl on the field before the game, like this chick in the white dress walking around like she owns the place” -my mom *looks down on the field* “Mom, that’s Hannah McNair, she literally does own the place” speaking of, BTH looked great in that dress today.
I turned it off before Mills came in. Seems like he played okay? Would we have had a shot if they had put him in during the second quarter like many of us wanted? Honest questions, just curious.
We lose in a bunch of tie-breaking scenarios so it's still a loss since we're running out of games to pull ahead.
Looks like everyone did us a solid except the Chargers. We have tie breakers against Pitt and Bengals , both 8-7, bc of head to head. We just have to win out, beat Colts and we will have the final playoff spot.
True, he doesn't have the best "deck" of cards to play with, BUT some can make lemonade out of lemons better than others.
Yeah it's probably not going to happen this season. Kind of a "knocking on the door" of the playoffs type season.... but the Texans have a ton of cap space to spend on FA's and look to have a REALLY bright future. I'd be willing to bet right now that the Texans will begin next season as the favorite to win the division.
The playoff loss at home by Kansas City, 30-0, was more embarrasing than this game. I can name a lot of embarrassing games before this, last season when they got dominated by the Jaguars at home was worse. but yeah this game was bad.
