The winner of tonight's Ravens-Steelers game will have the inside track to the #1 overall seed. If you're a Texans fan, you should probably root for the Steelers... since we own the head to head against them (and don't have it against Baltimore).
All this playoff seeding talk is putting a big smile on my face. Please god let this be the year, we've suffered enough.
I just got home with the family after going to the game today. My voice is pretty much toast after all the yelling I did. Awesome game and I am so happy we went.
Sorry. But I am looking for the Texans to get a BYE WEEK and be at least the #2 Seed. We have the Talent Rocket River
We also are playing in a relatively down year for the AFC... New England, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore have all been up and down... and Cincinnatti hasn't played anybody of note yet. I'm not going to get greedy since we are still a team that has never even been to the playoffs, let alone being a #1 or #2 seed. It wouldn't suprise me if its the Texans and the Jets (who have remained impressive in all of their wins, including today) who get stronger as the year goes on.... while the trio I mentioned above either fades back or gets their acts together and starts playing more consistently.
Statistically because the Pitt/Bal game had a lot of scoring. Outside of stats I'd say we are still outside the top 5 but not bad. That's just my what my eyes say though.
