How many games before this year could you honestly say that about a game that involved the Texans... against anybody.
Arian Foster decreased YPC this year. Total team rushing stats skewed because we have played more games than most other teams in the league due to a lack of a bye week. Whatever our stats are at the end of the year, they likely get better with a better fullback. Leach is a better fullback than either Vickers or Casey. He can do what the above two do by himself, at a pro-bowl level. To spare the rest of the posters in this thread, I'm going to stop talking about this now... no matter how many times you decide to reply to my "unfounded opinion."
As a texan fan i've been trained to expect the worst. But the matter of fact dispatching of our last 3 opponents, without dre make it hard to not be optimistic. If this team doesn't finish 11-5 it'll be a disappointment. But i've come to expect that.
Grasping straws with the skewed stuff, it's average yards per game not total yards. We're not missing Leach, we are doing better without him, it was a smart move to not pay him.
We've also rushed it more than any other team in the league... we are 17th in yards per attempt (below average). Not grasping straws there. One of the reasons we've been able to run it this much is because we have a guy who could be a starter on most teams (Tate). We didn't have that last year. Whoops... I replied when I said I wouldn't
