Schaub outduels Manning, 45-41. We win last two games screwing our draft position. McNair thinks Schaub is better than Manning, he is next year's starter.
Is anyone else rooting for Schaub to succeed? I feel really bad for the guy. I hope the fans don't rip him up on Sunday. His career here is unquestionably done.
Doesn't the Tate to IR move hurt his chances of getting a good contract in 2014? This is the kind of move a team makes if they intend to keep him isn't it?
Yeah, nobody in Houston wanted the Texans to succeed more than Schaub. Sucks the fan base turned on him so quickly, and playing well now won't make up for it.
Not really. The Texans don't have much to gain by playing him since he's not going to be re-signed... Tate doesn't have much to gain by continuing to play hurt/ineffectively (he really did re-injure the already fractured rib)... and there's no sense wasting a roster spot on him when they need to evaluate everybody available (including practice squad players) to see if there is anybody worth salvaging for next year.
Yeah, I will cheer for him. I hope he does well and gets picked up by another team. The Texans have made him a very, very rich man for limited results. I don't particularly feel sorry for him, but I never thought he was worth the contract, especially the extension, but that is on the Texan's brain trust (tiny brain, can't trust).
Lol just watch Schaub is going to go off for like 500 yards and 6 TDs, we're going to end up with the #2 pick and STL through Wash will draft Teddy B at #1. And this offseason will be a cluster***** of what to do at QB....
honestly, i feel Schaub gives us our best chance at losing. no way in hell we beat denver. (denver is a -700, htown +500) not to mention gregg williams constant blitzing gives schaubby nightmares. 0-2
last point...you have to give it to Schaub...he really has been a true pro. He was benched for a 3rd stringer; Has had the owner publicly back the 3rd stringer over Schaub, and had the greatest player in Texans history verbally rip him on the sidelines. Schaub should have the right to mail it in, but he really has been even keel. Kinda like the dude, just wish he had a better arm. Thank you Schaub, but this will be the last home game for you as a Texan. Best of luck in your career.
So if Keenum is out with a torn ligament and Yates is "injured" who's the backup QB when Derek "Hologram" Newton oles Miller?
