Competing with these top clubs and losing in late innings is frustrating yet encouraging. The Stros are getting there and with a new manager and some relief pitching next year could be fun.
Main thing is, we lost Every loss ensures a higher draft pick Which means that in some future year, we will be better
Good, hopefully he will get off to a good start. We really need to get Fowler and Springer back, and hope that those three form a good overall OF
I wonder if Fowler would be OK moving to left, because Marisnick is a better CF. The trio of Fowler, Marisnick and Springer would give us an extremely rangy outfield. Obviously Marisnick is gonna have to show some results offensively before we pencil him in moving forward, but he could be a steal.
Well to beat out those guys obviously not LOL, but I'm talking moving forward, is he the long term option.
I thought moving forward as in rest of the season. Yes, he'll have to be better to avoid the team looking to FA or Santana/Tucker taking the 3rd OF spot.
Is Marisnick starting tonight? For all my whining, my happy ass will be at MMP tonight watching the home 9.
Blurb from Astros.com: "Friday's game will mark the Astros debut for 23-year-old outfielder Jake Marisnick, who was acquired in a six-player trade with the Marlins on Thursday. Marisnick is scheduled to start in center field, where he'll play until either George Springer or Dexter Fowler returns from the 15-day DL, at which time he'll probably move to a corner spot."
presumably tonight...out of the bullpen. so all the winning starts tonight  but if they don't, at least we'll have Saint Arnold's.
