Well, either team would be tough, but first we have to take care of business tonight. I don't want to drag this on to Tennessee.
Nor do I, but it is a good thing that the Texans seem to be getting healthy-ish at the best possible time. A lot of guys returning to the lineup.
A big WELL DONE to the Jags and an even bigger.. to the t***. C'MON TEXANS! TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS AND WIN THIS GAME!
hopefully nuke has 2 tonight. And no reverses in the red zone please, also no empty backfields from inside the 5 yard line.
Texans should still try and get the 3rd slot. Could be the difference between giving New England two bye weeks to start the Playoffs or having a competitive game against the 2nd seed team if we win our wild card game.
The only scenario I know of that would lead to the Texans in the 3 seed is if the Texans win out and the Ravens beat the Steelers and then lose to the Bengals.....and that's not at all likely.
The Colts is not out yet because the Titans lost. If the Colts will beat the Raiders, Texans lose to the Bengals, and then in the last week, Titans beat the Texans and the Colts will beat the Jags. The Colts will win the division. Its a very long shot, but anything can still happen in this weak ass division.
Of course this is a very long shot for the Colts to be in, but if somehow the Colts will beat the Raiders, the Titans basically is very close to be eliminated.
Such a weird narrative. How many divisions have 3 teams that end up without losing seasons? The fact that 3 teams could potentially win it sort of suggests that the division is at least better than average.
It might suggest that it's average, or not the worst. The combined out-of-division record of those top 3 teams are like 13-13 or maybe 13-14. The AFC South's top 3 teams' out-of-division record gets destroyed by the AFC East and West, but is better than the North. And Indy is getting smoked by Oakland as I type this, so no worries for this Indy winning the division scenario.
