Go look at the loss column... Angels, Twins and Indians all within 2 games. How long until we hear about how the Astros have exceeded their talent.... Compare rosters... The Astros have NOT exceeded their talent. However I am sure we will hear Hinch is great, McCullers will say they are a great team and we will hear how they are better than last year. That 8th inning is representative of this choke. Pen gives up a homer, goes from ahead to trailing... Then Astros hitters retired on SIX pitches.
Way too many times. At least 3 new bats need to be added to this lineup next season. Too many .230 hitters with low ob% and high strikeout rate.
I've been waiting for Hinch to breakout in one of his post game interviews with the orphan annie song "Tomorrow" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yop62wQH498
Yeah, just not a lot of professional ABs. It really helps other pitchers get into a groove when our guys are swinging at balls and taking strikes. That rookie (Dull) came in and pitched with a lot of guts. Just so frustrating not to take advantage of another solid start, the Rangers losing, and knowing you have Gray coming up tomorrow.
Damn this is some type of collapse, I mean this team couldn't win against a triple A team right now. They are struggling in every facet of the game. Bats are dry, starting pitchers have been getting lit up including our ace, bull-pen continuously blowing saves. You couldn't write this ****!
Milo Hamilton is rolling his grave right now. Aghhhhh!!!! Someone go to MMP and wear a brown paper bag over their head to show the frustration us fans are going through right now.
Have they even had a closed door meeting? I might have missed it but usually you hear about teams holding such a meeting during a big losing streak. Obviously they probably don't have any real bearing on subsequent games but might it be indicative of the team's overall attitude right now?

So for those who just happened to be in the clubhouse, he gave some words of encouragement? Geez he may truly be in over his head now.

Why would they? You heard McCullers say they are a great team. Hinch said there is always another game tomorrow. There is no pressure.
I agree! Now I don't want this team to reach the playoffs. I want them to burn and suffer and I also want to see what changes are coming for next season cause there's still a ton of fixing to do.
